At the last get-together in Fort Langley last month we struggled a bit with the unpredictable weather and we had a new member (thanks Martin) who had a suggestion for a place to meet. I followed up on it and have given them a heads up that we will try July 21 at 2:30 PM. The location is called Trinity House and the address is 9272 Glover Road. I told them we need a table for 6 to 8 people. It is a community space available to all, not just Trinity Western students so let's give it a try. It is inside, there is no pressure to buy food or drink although they offer coffee, soft drinks for donation and you can feel free to bring your own snack or beverage as you choose. I understand it is set back a bit from Glover, more where Bedford House used to be. I will take a walk over there before July 21 and see if I can give you better directions than just the address.

It seems strange that we might meet at Trinity House, a partnering between the college and the Township of Langley. Check out their FB page if you are skeptical, we are welcomed there. We are relatively quiet, respectful and tidy, not a disruptive group who keep to ourselves. We seemed to tick all the boxes for their requirements and they ticked our boxes for a meeting space so let's give it a try. I hope to see a few of you out for a conversation on July 21.

Also, I will be away mid-month in August (actually from Aug 19 to Sept 10) so we are going to need someone to take charge and send out the notice for an August meeting. Let me know in July if you could do that for August. It is a mattter of having the basic email ready (I can send it to you) and attaching details and sending it out a couple weeks in advance of the chosen date. Thanks so much.
