The following Officiants have been trained and certified by the BC Humanist Association to provide Humanist, secular and non-religious ceremonies. They work independently from the organization and set their own rates.

Please contact one of our officiants for:

• baby welcomings/namings
• coming-of-age ceremonies
• reconcilliation ceremonies
• parting ceremonies
• memorials and funerals

We are petitioning the Government of British Columbia to recognize Humanist officiants to solemnize a marriage but at present a Humanist officiant cannot perform legal marriages. You are welcome to have a Humanist Officiant perform the ceremony but a BC Marriage Commissioner will need to be present to make the ceremony official.
