The BC Humanist Association is looking to sponsor a refugee family fleeing the civil war and ISIS in Syria and Iraq to resettle in Vancouver. The Government of Canada estimates the costs sponsoring a family of 4 to be $27,000. With the higher cost of living in the City of Vancouver and some administrative costs, we're looking to raise $30,000. Pledge or donate to help us reach that goal by the end of January. We've already secured $17,000 in pledges but we need your help to reach our goal.
