A CFI Okanagan event

A discussion with BC Humanist Association Executive Director Ian Bushfield

Data from Statistics Canada and BCHA polling suggests as many as two in three people in BC are not religious. Some of these people grew up in religious households and later left the church while others were raised secular.

Many are looking for a community of shared values, based on reason and compassion, rather than supernatural dogma. Since 1984, the BC Humanist Association has been working to provide that community.

Ian will present on some of the work he’s been doing to expand that community in Metro Vancouver and across the province, and how the BCHA is providing a voice for the non-religious.

Please come to this important discussion so we can provide a stronger voice in BC.

You must RSVP to this event by October 19th via the CFI Okanagan Contact Page.  Please address the email to Johanna with your reservations.

There is limited seating.
