Hopefully, by the time this meeting rolls around the whole issue will have been resolved by new federal legislation which specifies how Canadian provinces must handle the Supreme Court's decision which invalidated the previous law criminalizing assisting a terminally ill patient to end her or his suffering.  Sue Hughson, a director of the lobby group Dying With Dignity, will give us an update.
