Obi Canuel, an ordained minister in the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, was denied his driver's licence because of his chosen religious headgear. Come join us as Obi discusses the origins of the Church, and how he was touched by His Noodly Appendages. Along the way we will explore society's inconsistent response to religion, his adventures as a Pastafarian minister, and Obi's never ending legal quest for a driver's license. Perhaps you too will choose to wear the Sacred Colander, and become a Pastafarian.
All are welcome to attend. Join us at 10 am for BYO coffee, tea, and socializing. At 10:30 am we start our presentation and discuss topics of interest to our members.
The BC Humanist Association was formed in 1984 and we have a regular attendance of over 30 people at our Sunday meetings.
