I volunteer at the food bank and lead groups, a whole lot of which are church groups. Unsurprisingly, I have not seen any non-religious representation. Time to step up our game!

The tasks depend on the most urgent need at the time, but may include: - Sorting and boxing food - Checking for open packages and dents - Checking “Best Before” and “Expiry Dates” - Sorting and packing produce - Sorting baby items and packing emergency bags - Any additional tasks that need to be completed.

Free street parking is available but is limited as there are other businesses around. Carpooling is recommended.

Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty and wear closed-toe shoes that are comfortable.

There are light snacks and drinks provided.
