In 2024, we declared BC municipalities officially "prayer-free" after we pressed the remaining scofflaws to ensure future council meetings are secular. We also called out municipalities in Alberta and Saskatchewan who continue to violate the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

We continued to defend the privacy rights of the non-religious in the courts and we saw more municipalities begin to question the value of religious property tax exemptions.

Our research team is currently wading through public school policies and investigating the role of chaplains in the prison system. We'll continue to defend secularism in public policy.
