The Annual General Meeting of the BC Humanist Association will be held virtually via Zoom on May 22, 2025, at 7:00 PM (PDT) with the following agenda:
- Territorial acknowledgement
- Name the chair
- Determine if quorum is present
- Approval of the agenda
- Approval of the minutes of the previous AGM
- Receive the 2024 financial report
- Receive the Executive Director's Report
- Receive any other director's report
- Announcement of election results
- Adjournment
Only current members may vote at the AGM; proxies are not accepted. Minutes of the previous AGM, financial statements and statements by candidates nominated for election are posted on the members site. Candidates for the five available board positions must be members in good standing for at least six months prior to the AGM. The returning officer is Eric Damer.

Evan is an award-winning humanist community organizer with over 15 years experience tinkering with secular communities. He is currently the Executive Director of Atheists United in Los Angeles, CA, the Southern California State Director for American Atheists, and a Board Member for the American Humanist Association.
Evan was previously the Creative Director at Spectrum Experience LLC, North American Coordinator for Young Humanists International, Chair of the Secular Student Alliance Board of Directors, co-host of the Humanist Experience podcast, co-founder of the Humanist Community of Ventura County, and President of the Secular Student Alliance at California Lutheran University.
