Sonmin Bong is the Volunteer and Educational Outreach Coordinator at the Women Against Violence Against Women Rape Crisis Centre. WAVAW works to end all forms of violence against women. Guided by feminist anti-oppression philosophy, they challenge and change thinking, actions, and systems that contribute to violence against women. They provide all women who have experienced any form of sexualized violence with support and healing, and engage with youth to develop leadership for prevention of future violence.

All are welcome to attend. Join us at 10 am for BYO coffee, tea, and socializing. At 10:30 am we start our presentation and discuss topics of interest to our members.

The BC Humanist Association was formed in 1984 and we have a regular attendance of over 30 people at our Sunday meetings.
