British Columbia is one of Canada's least religious provinces. The BC Humanist Association is committed to building Humanist communities for those who share our values in cities and towns across the province. Together with our local affiliate communities, we host regular meetings across BC.
Attendees at events are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct.
All events are listed in Pacific Time.
Join us on Tuesday, March 19 at 4 PM PT (7 PM ET) for an online roundtable discussion about the cost of religion in Canada - quantified by original research conducted by the Centre for Inquiry Canada and BC Humanist Association.
Bettianne Hedges of Humanist Canada will be hosting Leslie Rosenblood from CFIC alongside Teale Phelps Bondaroff and Ian Bushfield of the BC Humanist Association, who will discuss the many ways Canada still tangibly privileges religion and its institutions over similar non-theistic organizations. Just a few policy choices cost Canadians billions - yes, with a "b" - each and every year.
