The BC Humanist Association Officiant Program exists to provide Humanist officiants and celebrants who are trained to help the non-religious and secular mark significant milestones in their lives in a meaningful way.

We are currently able to provide Humanist Officiants for:

• baby welcomings/namings
• coming-of-age ceremonies
• reconcilliation ceremonies
• parting ceremonies
• memorials and funerals

We have been denied an initial application to perform marriages in BC, so for now, please consider contacting a BC Marriage Commissioner. Please get involved in our campaign for Humanist Marriages.

Our Officiants Committee is governed by a charter and are required to observe the Code of Ethics.
