Baz Edmeades, author of "MEGAFAUNA — first victims of the human-caused extinction", will elaborate on his earlier, controversial, talk on Human Evolution and will engage in a panel discussion with Bob Close about the implications of the discovery that human evolution has not ended with the advent of agriculture. Baz will present the evidence for continued and even accelerated human evolution since the dawn of civilization while Bob will make the case for stasis in human evolution since the advent of settled societies.
All are welcome to attend. Join us at 10 am for BYO coffee, tea, and socializing. At 10:30 am we start our presentation and discuss topics of interest to our members.
The BC Humanist Association was formed in 1984 and we have a regular attendance of over 30 people at our Sunday meetings.
