We will be listening to an episode of the Waking Up podcast in which Sam Harris analyses in detail a couple of articles from Dabiq, the ISIS magazine which has been worryingly successful in recruiting Western youth (Muslims and Christians) to the ISIS cause. He explores the core message of ISIS and why some young people find it convincing. This will likely be a controversial topic. It is only 49 minutes long, leaving plenty of time for discussion.

All are welcome to attend. Join us at 10 am for BYO coffee, tea, and socializing. At 10:30 am we start our presentation and discuss topics of interest to our members.

The BC Humanist Association was formed in 1984 and we have a regular attendance of over 30 people at our Sunday meetings.
