Marylen Reid, of www.cuddlery.ca, will give a presentation entitled The Power of Touch, A Scientifically Proven. In North America, two partners touch each other in a one-hour conversation once or twice, compared to Latin America, where the amount of touch can be close to a hundred. People who touch more have been observed to be happier. However, fear and ignorance are in the way to welcome more this needed touch in our lives. During the talk, she will address the science behind the power of touch, breaking some myths and giving some tips on how to have more touches in your life and become a better cuddler.
All are welcome to attend. Join us at 10 am for BYO coffee, tea, and socializing. At 10:30 am we start our presentation and discuss topics of interest to our members.
The BC Humanist Association was formed in 1984 and we have a regular attendance of over 30 people at our Sunday meetings.
