The British Columbia Humanist Association is the voice for the interests of secular humanists and the non-religious in the province.
Our organization stands for universal human rights, a secular society, and equality. Humanists like Dr. Henry Morgentaler were at the forefront of the fight to legalize a women's right to safe abortions in Canada. The BCHA has opposed efforts by religious fundamentalists to insert creationism in the schools and to have local governments make pro-life proclamations. We support LGBTQ rights and are proud to march in the Vancouver Pride Parade.
